The festival will recall the story of the Vietnamese Ao Dai, which goes along with the ups and downs of the history of the country.

The event will introduce 17 Ao Dai collections by 17 designers who bring images of 17 Vietnamese heritages and landscapes into the two sides of the Ao Dai, including the Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi), Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh), Ha Long bay (Quang Ninh), Trang An Eco-Tourism Complex (Ninh Binh), My Son sanctuary and Cau (Bridge) Pagoda (Quang Nam), and the cultural space of gongs in the Central Highlands region.

The show will feature the participation of hundreds of dancers and models, whose performances will highlight the vitality of the Ao Dai.

“The show is expected to honor the elegant beauty of Ao Dai and reaffirm the values of the Vietnamese cultural identity,” said designer Minh Hanh, Director of the program./.
